You have all your favorite music on CDs and you used to love listening to them on your CD clock radio. Today, however, not many people have CDs anymore. Most people copy their CDs onto their computer so that they can listen to them with their MP3 players. That means that not many people have CD clock radios anymore. However, there are still those who hang onto old technology. The CD isn’t gone yet. Most people have a CD clock radio in their car, on their bed stand at home, or in their living room. CD radios still come in handy when you’re having a party or when you’re just in the mood to lay back and listen to your favorite CDs. Some people still have CD alarm clock radios that they love to wake up to in the morning. Some CD clock radios allow you to hold multiple CDs in one player. These often look very fancy and have three or more holders for your favorite CDs. There are also CD changers that allow you to hold sometimes up to five CDs in one player. When one CD is finished in your CD clock radio, it will automatically switch to the next one and so on. Or, you can set it to random which will allow your CD clock radio to play in a totally random order so that you never get bored of the same repetitious music.

Don’t Forget The Radio

The CD clock radio isn’t just for CDs. You can always switch to the radio to listen to your favorite Top 40 music or whatever else you’re into. Some people like to listen to the news on the AM stations. But there’s also the time, which will allow you to know what time it is while listening to your favorite music. With all of these features, the CD clock radio isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

When the VCR first came out it was great. You could watch movies in the privacy of your own home, you could rewind and rewatch your favorite parts and you could save those movies to watch again and again. It revolutionized how we watched movies. However, nowadays we have DVD players and the VCR players are becoming obsolete. The same thing, it seems, is happening to the clock radio alarm. Many people aren’t using clock radio alarms like they used to. Today we have MP3 players that allow us to wake up to our favorite music instead of just relying on whatever may be on the radio that morning. Are clock radio alarms becoming obsolete? Maybe so, but there are still those who live by them and wake up to them every morning.

Why Some People Don’t Like Them

Some people don’t like clock radio alarms because they just don’t wake them up. Most clock radio alarms have a dual function that allows you to wake up to an annoying screeching alarm. This is more effective for waking you up. When you wake up to music, some people won’t wake up. They’ll simply lay there and dream about the music they’re listening to; which makes the clock radio alarm kind of useless. However, with the MP3 alarm, you can choose what music to wake up to. You may want to choose music you don’t like so that you’re forced to turn it off; thus waking you up.

Some Still Swear By Them

There are still those who prefer the clock radio alarm to wake up to. They don’t want MP3 alarm clocks or CD clock radios that allow you to choose what you wake up to, they want to leave their music to chance. They want every morning to be different. If you wake up to the same music every morning, you can fall into the trap of not paying attention to it. If you leave your music choices to the radio station you choose to set the clock radio to, you have a chance to wake up to new music every day, which could set a great tone for the rest of your day.

The clock radio alarm will probably never go away. Some people may not like them and may prefer MP3 player alarm clocks, but there are still enough clock radio alarm clock enthusiasts around to keep this technology alive; unlike the obsolete VCR.
